Big Sur Marathon

Big Sur marathon ,a point to point Highway course is one of those beautiful courses with several uphills enroute, but worth it, just gorgeous vistas of Pacific Ocean all the way. I ran it in ‘07 after doing a tough ultra in WA state, plan to go back in ‘09( part of my 1000 marathons in the coming year plus campaign). I felt like getting off the course, and watch the waves, but had to snap out of that thought process. Well supported at the start, aid stations are plenty. One of the top 10 marathons anywhere.
