I’m the organiser of this race. It has been named the hardest marathon in the UK by Runner’s World Magazine. It includes 6000ft (1826m) of ascent and descent. However, it’s a lot of fun, with great views, fantastic support from the other runners, and nice goodies. The toughest run you’ll ever do!

By the way, the race only takes place every two years – 2005, 2007, 2009 etc.
