Timberline Marathon

The 2007 Timberline Marathon was easily the BEST marathon I’ve run anywhere! It traverses an awesome section of the PCT from Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood to georgeous Timothy Lake. Views of the Cascades and Mt Hood were spectacular. I felt like I was running through the scenes of a Tolkien novel! Trail conditions were excellent – all single track – no forest service or gravel roads. Rogue Multi-Sport did an superb job of organizing the event. The course marking, aid station support, medical team, T-shirts, finisher medals, awards were all first rate. I highly recommend any of their races and the Timberline Marathon in particular!
